EDITOR’S NOTE:
Happy Birthday Jay Z
Only three updates this week from Chapters. Finals and end of semester events are taking up a lot of our chapterhead’s time but fear not, bigger updates are on the way!!

CONCORDIA COLLEGE:
Planning is underway for the 2nd Annual HHC Minnesota Summit at Concordia College. It will be held from Feb. 16-18th. For more information email Amer Ahmed (dawahpoet@gmail.com)
SAN JOSE STATE:
San Jose State has been busy planning events for next year since this is our last week of school. Our football team finished 8 – 4 and 5 -3 in the WAC and will be playing in the New Mexico bowl, a feat that our college has hardly ever accomplished. Wish us luck! Today’s News, group of MC’s from the chapter including myself have been performing all over San Jose. We did one on the Eastside a month ago, one last night @ MACLA, and one tomorrow night in the Ballroom of San Jose State @ 6:30pm. Tickets 10$. Peace.
CAL STATE FULLERTON:
CSUF HHC has had an incredible last month with three back-to-back events: Can I Kick It? Tuesdays Halloween Edition, Slow Your Role, and Revival of the Fittest. We also had an end of the semester banquet, where we dressed in suits and dresses and had all-you-can-eat sushi. It was disgusting how much sushi we ate! We’re already planning our events for the the Spring semester, which will include a Hip Hop film festival, in addition to a gigantore mega show, which has yet to be named. Good luck on finals and have a great winter break! Peace.
LINK OF THE WEEK:
http://www.e-articles.info/e/a/title/The-Ten-Part-Mental-Fitness-Program/
There are ten mental exercises, or ways of thinking, that you can learn and practice every day to become a more positive, confident, and optimistic person. The more you think in these ways, the better you will feel, the more you will accomplish, and the faster and more easily you will accomplish it.
