DJ Backside Now in LA!

If you know anything about DJ BackSide’s history, you know she is not new to moving around; being from the Bay Area, her DJ Career has taken her from the Bay to New York and even overseas, to Taiwan and Germany. She has been seen everywhere from your favorite magazines, to your TV, on BET’s Rap City and various news segments.

The time has come for her to spread her wings and dive into the next chapter of her career, which will be involving more visual media (TV/video), and event hosting, along with continuing to work as a DJ. If you were active in the Bay Area hip hop scene in the past 5 years, chances are, you ran across DJ BackSide somewhere in your travels. From having her own show on 106.1 KMEL, spinning at all the hottest clubs, “Got Bay?” Mixtapes and clothing , she has been recognized as one of the hardest working people in the industry.

DJ Backside has now moved her operations to LA in order to further expand her career and opportunities. She is currently producing and developing an entertainment show, “DJ Backside LIVE”, featuring candid interviews with stars of the music industry and Hollywood. She also has a column she writes for Ozone Magazine called “The West is Back…side”, featuring the hottest upcoming artists on the West Coast.

Backside sincerely thanks all that have supported the movement in any way thus far with much love and appreciation. Please continue to do so as DJ BackSide moves to Los Angeles to develop even more in her career goals and interests.

DJ BackSide is now available for gigs in the LA area, also is promoting a “Get Your Music Heard” Campaign which includes monthly mixtapes for artists trying to get out there. She is an official Seagrams Gin DJ and Core DJ, and is conducting video exclusive interviews with Artists, other celebrities and more. If you have some work for us, please let us know.

DJ BackSide is still at the same phone call away, email away, and OF COURSE, a myspace note away. She is still available for bookings in the bay area and beyond, so please feel free to inquire about spinning anywhere. As she has always said, “Holla at ya girl” if you are in Los Angeles.
