1. TODAY! *!Today!* BenFlowz on KUSF to talk about upcoming events and the new D&B album

Today, Sunday December 2nd at 7PM… BenFlowz will be making a last-minute appearance in the KUSF studios for DJ Raw B’s show the BeatSauce. This is a rare opportunity to hear BenFlowz tracks on radio-airwaves. Discussion will include Flowz’ involvement in the upcoming RZA show at the Independent in SF, an upcoming showcase of Flowz’ students at a Hip-Hop class he co-taught, and the new DraMatiQue and BenFlowz album released March 2008.

2. The RZA in San Francisco, BenFlowz opening

Tuesday, December 11th . On the day of Wu-Tang’s 8 diagram release, The RZA will be touching down in San Francisco to rock the Independent alongside SF’s local BenFlowz. Other performers include LA’s Mr. Sayre, and Audible Mainframe. The show will kick off at 9pm, with Flowz’ performance and likely include numerous special guests on RZAs part considering the importance of the day.

The Independent is located at 628 Divisadero St. in between Grove and Hays. Tickets are available through ticketweb for $30 but fans of DreamScheme/BenFlowz are advised to email us at: info@dreamschemeproductions.com for cheaper presale tickets, available for $25. Limited quantity.

3. Out of Site: Young People Excel with Help from the Arts.

On December 7th (Friday) the San Francisco based Youth Arts program Out of Site (outofsite-sf.org) will showcase it’s numerous students in performance and exhibit at SOMArts at 934 Brannan St. The event starts at 6:30 to celebrate the visual arts of architecture/design, photography, and more.

BenFlowz & Unity Lewis co-taught a class for the organization and are proud to
present their students in performance at 7:30 PM.

“I saw these kids transform over the months,” said BenFlowz, “and whether or not they pursue a professional career in music, I feel that they will leave empowered: more expressive, more honest, more comfortable. Although we recorded songs using a closet for a sound booth, I think they are realizing that they have a voice and that their voices have value.”

Swing in to support tomorrow’s generation of leaders… and you know my students are gonna hold it down with the music.
