New Orleans City Council Hearing Arrests
Public Housing residents and supporters are now being arrested
in City Council Chambers. We will alert you to the next Katrina/ Hud
disaster emergency call. If you are interested in helping or in providing
resources for PPEHRC members to support the fight for affordable housing
please call Cheri Honkala at (612)821-2364. In the meantime, call the city
council members in New Orleans and HUD in Washington.
Housing Is A Human Right !
Today as many of us attend homeless memorial services and marches
let us pray for those who have died on the streets this last year but let’s
commit ourselves to making housing a human right.
