For many of our high school and college attending HHC members, getting money for college can be a challenge and a constant struggle. Finding grant money, scholarship money, or tuition is almost a full time job itself. I wanted to give a heads up to everyone about the FAFSA program. This site provides tips and assistance with filling out the FAFSA form. It includes a step-by-step guide as well as a section of FAFSA “secrets”. Think about how much more time you can spend investing in your self and your future if you don’t have to worry about how to pay for next semester.
I personally usedFAFSA for part of paying for my college education and filing out the application can be a hard task. Check out the website and if it looks like its something you could use then go for it! I will fully admit that this program is not for everyone and there are guidelines you have to follow. Also remember that this program contains deadlines so if your looking up programs for the spring semester, it may be too late. However it should work out for the Fall semester. This is especially useful for our high school members.
