[YO! The Movement is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization. We assist young people in organizing around a mission of "Power, Places, and Perks."]

We’re back and better than ever. The annual Twin Cities Celebration of Hip-Hop has brought together people from all walks of life to celebrate the power of community through hip-hop culture. Over the past five years over 22,000 people from around the world have taken part in the festival and conference. Past participants include Slick Rick, MC Lyte, Naughty By Nature, Cee-Lo of Gnarls Barkley, Clipse, Camp Lo, Crazy Legs, Slug of Atmosphere, Jean Grae, Asia-One, EWOK (HM Crew), Brother Ali, and many others.

As always the TCCHH is about more than just music. Each year we focus on an issue that young people think is of importance and create a plan for action. Creating health communication for all members of the community.

Youth Strategy Session Workshops, MC Battle, Beatbox Battle, Production/Beat Battle, DJ Battle, B-Boy/Girl Battle, Hip-Hop Dance Battle, Graffiti, Open Air Outdoor Market, Networking

Artists: If you would like to perform send a press kit (Bio/CD/Video of Performance) to the address below. **We do not accept Myspace pages. All acts go through a rigorous selection process by young people.

***Youth Strategy Sessions are a two day planning meeting of youth from across the Midwest ages 13-21. In this meeting young people develop an a platform for their issues and create an action.
