I’ve always been impressed with Colorado’s appreciation of all the elements of the culture we cherish. From DJing to writing, we are able to show our love and creative expression in a myriad of ways. Hip Hop Congress, a national non-profit organization is helping the hip hop community express themselves and be proactive nation-wide. Colorado boasts three chapters in Fort Collins, Boulder and Denver.

This Saturday, March 7th, Colorado’s Hip Hop Congress crew is bringing all aspects of hip hop together at Sounds of the Underground in Boulder. B-boys, B-girls, emcees, DJs, artists, spectators and appreciators are invited to join in the celebration. I’ve been to many-a-hip hop event at the University Memorial Center at CU Boulder.
