Since its existence, the Baltimore chapter’s mission and goals are greatly influenced by many of the national organization. To ensure that the needs of Baltimore’s urban community are met, in addition to the goals of national Hip Hop Congress, the Baltimore Chapter has three main focuses for its programming:
* integrating Hip Hop and policy debate,
* challenging current methods in urban education systems and,
* providing resources and support for new youth artists and young urban community members.
