MINNESOTA SUMMIT RECAP:
The chapter at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN hosted their first regional summit this past weekend. The incredible event brought artists such as Alex Schein, The Bedouin, Toki Wright, Culture Shock Camp, Proof, Kanser and many more to fans eager to experience something different on the campus. The highlight of the weekend was an incredible representation of Native Hip Hop by Culture Shock Camp and Night Shield Entertainment. Their panel discussion helped to spread the good sounds of Indigenous Hip Hop. After this weekend, it is hard to say there is only cold, cold tundra in Moorhead. Congrats to the organizers and advisor Amer Ahmed who continues to put it down for HHC since 2000.

WILLAMETTE:
We are still moving forward full steam with the QN5 show April 21st, big time!
We have been in contact with local radio KBOO, and are in the process of getting the show live on air, and having them supply the battle DJ’s for the event. Bboys and MC’s from up and down the Willamette Valley are being lined up for their battles, and money is still be raised for the cash prizes for those battles.
As for our other events, we are heading to the Home Youth and Resource Center (outreach center for homeless youth) on Friday to hang out with the teens, talk Hip Hop, and just kick it.
And finally we are sponsoring a Spoken word night in the Bistro on campus, so that the students of the English 242 class (Writing Hip Hop) can do their performance aspect of their class requirements, and a few of the HHC crew can also perform.
Peace,
A
