Hip Hop is more than a music genre, it is a cultural phenomenon of art and social change at its highest, understood around the world as a universal language for youth. Hip Hop gives voice and opportunities to many individuals through the power of its art forms. Music, dance and art have the power to unite people and inspire them to create together for a purpose. Through Hip Hop Congress, the power of art has brought people together via Chapters and affiliated organizations from all over the world. People coming together under shared values and visions continues to shape the way the artists collective, community leaders and educators are changing 
the world every day 
though this organization.

EDUCATION

INCLUSION
Education is behind the growth of all individuals, and Hip Hop Congress, Inc has dedicated its goals to the emotional, academic and social growth of young people. Science Technology, 
Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) education is at the core of the curriculum that has been created and is being piloted for Hip Hop education. Hip Hop Congress has been an integral part of planning and organizing the first statewide Hip Hop education program through the H2E2 Initiative. Hip Hop Education has opened the door to allow artists and community leaders to become credentialed teachers though the vast experience they have gained in their respective fields. Hip Hop Congress Inc (HHC) is a non-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to spreading Hip Hop cultural awareness and creative exchange to uplift individuals and communities. We collaborate our efforts through local, regional, national and international grassroots organization to evolve the perception of Hip Hop culture as a means to inspire social engagement, civic service, cultural creativity and economic growth. Our local, regional and international Chapters, affiliates and respective communities consist of a solid network of diverse individuals driving the necessary change to transform the world by uplifting young people and Artists though creative development, education, civic engagement and equitable resource exchange. HHC regularly hosts cultural events and workshops focused on the Hip Hop art forms of DJing and Turntablism, MCing/Rapping, Tech-based Music Production, Dancing, Graffiti Art and Beat Boxing, as well as the topics of Hip Hop education, mental health and youth-crime prevention. HHC is committed to youth-based programs that develop social emotional learning, mental health, academic growth and inclusive education across all genders, races and ethnicities.

HHC  BEGAN ENGAGING OLYMPIC COMMITTEE OFFICIALS IN 2022 TO MAKE SURE THAT THE REPRESENTATION OF BREAKING IN THE 2024 PARIS GAMES IS TRANSPARENT AND COMPLIANT WITH INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIC COMMITTEE GUIDELINES. SOME OF THESE DISCUSSIONS TOOK PLACE LIVE ON OUR WEEKLY PODCAST WITH OFFICIAL OLYMPIC REPRESENTATION SPEAKING DIRECTLY ON THE POLITICS. Preserving History For The Future

​HHC is dedicated to preserving the history of inner-city culture through the people and art forms that have influenced and inspired it. HHC has undertaken a process spanning years to preserve the rich African American dance history of the San Francisco Bay area through the project known as "The Day Before Hip Hop." This monumental collaboration with Tart Productions International, LLC has brought together award-winning film makers and historians to document the prolific art forms of Boogaloo, Robottin' and Struttin' known colloquially as BRS dance styles that set the stage for Hip Hop dance on the West Coast, originating in the SF Bay Area in the 1960s to 1970s.

BRS dance styles of the California inner-city Black communities of Oakland, Richmond and San Francisco, California would become the precursor to some of Michael Jackson's most Iconic dance moves and the group choreography of his most Iconic video epic Thriller and Dancing Machine,, inspiring future generations in throughout Hip Hop culture for decades to come.

Much of the incredible history of BRS was undocumented and has largely gone unknown, and without sincere preservation efforts to conserve this time capsule of African American history, this tradition is in danger of being lost to time. With much of this information passed down from generation to generation though experience, and many of the teachers no longer around, HHC has made its mission to preserve not just the original dance styles but the true history of these incredible pioneers of African American culture.
